My name is Rita Jacks and I have been the AEAI District 4 rep for 6 years. Carrie Billman joined me as co-rep in 2008.
I teach in Parke County at Rockville Jr. Sr. High School where there have only been 2 art teachers in 60 years! I had the former art teacher when I was a student at RJSHS.
The counties that we represent are: Boone, Carroll, Clinton, Howard, Fountain, Hamilton, Montgomery, Parke, Tipton, Tippecanoe, Vermillion and Warren.
The St. Mary Retreat was a success due to the great presenters/workshops, participants and the facility.
We have several ideas and suggestions for next year's event, so watch for the sign-up so you don't miss out.

If you need the Professional Growth Points (PGPs) for your license renewal, be sure to ask workshop hosts to provide a paper with your name, date of workshop, location of workshop, hours attended and the name of the workshop. Each hour you attend is equal to one PGPs. If you have CRUs from before the new rule, each one is equal to 2 PGPs.
The convention in November could provide 30 of your 90 PGP if you attend everything! The St. Mary Retreat counts as 30 of the points as well.
