Teapot Exchange
Looking for new ideas, forms, approaches to design? This workshop will explore a spontaneous approach to the creative process. Everyone will create  teapot “parts” (bodies/lids, spouts, handles, knobs, feet, etc.) using whatever techniques (thrown or hand-built) they wish.  Students will exchange parts to discover new shape possibilities, proportional relationships and potential of the subconscious as a source of information.

Paste paper, which was produced starting in the late sixteenth century,  and was often used as a decorative component in the end papers of books. Today these papers can be used in a variety of ways. In this workshop you will learn traditional patterns and create 3 sheets of paste paper to take home.
