D7 NEWS...
West Washington Schools will be getting a grant to help with mental health issues which will include Art Therapy for individuals and groups.
New Albany-Floyd County Schools Secondary Art Show & Awards 2021 marked the 48th Annual Art Show which will run through May 1st at the Carnegie Center for Art & History in downtown New Albany. Student artwork in grades 5-12 are juried by a panel of local professional artist and retired art educators. This year, the AEAI board helped jury digitally due to COVID restrictions. We are extremely lucky to have this highly sought after venue for our students work to be exhibited. If you're in the Louisville area for Oaks or Derby take time to check it out. The hours are 10AM - 5PM Monday - Saturday. Digital Program

Start at the Glassworks on Market Street and pick-up the Gallery Guide to take you through an evening of ever changing exhibits in the local museums and galleries about town. The galleries are usually open from 5pm to 9pm and if you want a little extra charm, catch the Trolley and hop on and off at the different galleries on the tour.
